Maidenhead United vs Port Vale 11/20/2015 FA Cup Preview, Odds and Prediction, TV Info: BT Sport, Bet365 Livestreaming.

Port Vale midfielder Michael O'Connor says the Valiants should steel themselves for starters of their toughest away games of the year as they get ready for tonight's FA Cup first-round replay at Maidenhead (7.45pm).

In theory no less than, the Valiants ought to be favourites against a team from three divisions below them, but it really didn't work out like this in the first game at Vale Park as James Mulley's 94th-minute strike cancelled out Byron Moore's opener to generate the non-league side a replay in Berkshire.

O'Connor admits there was clearly complacency from the Vale team for the reason that first game and says they must be much better, especially as Maidenhead have home advantage.

The National League South side have sold-out their 1,950 home tickets as fans queued across the ground to have their place for a sport which is also being screened live by BT Sport.

Asked the Vale players learned in the first game, O'Connor pulled no punches.

He said: "Don't underestimate non-league teams. With 30 second to look we turned off and they scored a target, but I thought within the second half we merely sat back and allow them to do what they have to wanted.

"The fans weren't happy and also you could see why. But we shall go there and embark on the front foot. We are in good form with the minute, we now have had two league wins consecutive so hopefully we can easily keep this little run going.

"It's destined to be a huge game; I think it will likely be one with the toughest away games we play. I am sure it's usually wet and windy, they are up correctly and we need to travel into it with all the right outlook and get the win within the night.

"Hopefully there's no extra time because we now have three games in five days. It is a bit mad to experiment with Thursday, Saturday and Tuesday, but we've a big squad here and can hopefully use that from the next three games."

It's fair to state Vale would take any win tonight, it doesn't matter how long it will require. They will receive £33,750 in television fees regardless of result, and can also bank £18,000 in FA prize money when they win.

That would earn another round tie at Exeter on Sunday December 6 which could be worth £12,500 for both teams for BBC highlights coverage, including a further £27,000 in prize money for your winner.

However, the Valiants defintely won't be daring to imagine that far ahead, not after taking their eye from the ball from the game against Maidenhead at Vale Park.

O'Connor says the squad have to have precisely the same approach they showed at Barnsley on Saturday if they won 2-1 on account of goals from Ajay Leitch-Smith and Sam Foley.

That managed to get two league wins from two with the Valiants that are up to 13th. O'Connor says the of the victory at Oakwell was encouraging because, although Vale weren't able to try out much attractive football, these folks were clinical before goal and defended impressively.

He said: "It's an excellent result to win 2-1 overseas. We didn't play well but we rolled our sleeves up and now we need to do more often out of the house.

"It wasn't pretty occasionally and from the last 10 or fifteen minutes it was all them putting it inside the box . But we defended well plus the back four, the keeper along with the whole team worked hard."
